In a morning of high-octane action, the West Midlands Police force kicked down 10 addresses across Birmingham today (July 9), securing a 'significant' haul of Class-A drugs. The feds swooped in, whip doors flyin', and cornered suspects inside. Crack cocaine, heroin, cash, and weapons were rumbled and bagged up for evidence.
A video from the scene shows officers bangin' down doors and movin' with military precision. Five men and one woman were nicked on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. All suspects, aged in their 20s except for a 50-year-old geezer, are currently in custody.
Det Inspector Mark Robinson from the CLTF gave a statement: 'Weโve executed warrants at 10 addresses this morning across Birmingham. Six people are in custody. We recovered a large quantity of Class-A drugsโcrack cocaine, heroin, and cashโalong with weapons. This is part of our ongoing work to disrupt drug lines and protect vulnerable folks.'
