On June 23, the PEI Joint Enforcement Team (JET) made a traffic stop in North Carleton, Prince Edward Island. The boys swooped on 27-year-old Graydon James Hearn and clapped him with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl. 🚔 They seized 16 grams of fentanyl and 1.5 grams of cocaine from his ride.
Hearn’s court date is set for August 19, 2026. Cpl Gavin Moore, the Media Relations Officer for the PEI RCMP, made it clear: “Fentanyl is an extremely potent synthetic opioid. It’s associated with overdose deaths across Canada. We take trafficking of this very dangerous drug seriously.”
The JET team, a multi-agency task force, continues to tackle drugs and organized crime in PEI. If you’ve got info on the plug or any other shady deals, hit up your local detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-222-TIPS (8477).
